Excitingly, we have yet another author coming to the festival this May. Aaron Starmer, author of The Only Ones and The Riverman, will be joining us. I'm certainly excited!
On
top of all that, Roc the Day is coming up too, on December 11th to be
precise. Roc the Day is a fundraiser to help raise money for different
local organizations, including your favourite book festival. Our goal for this year is to raise $9000 in total by the festival -- and if we reach it, not only will the festival be able to remain free for everyone coming, but Stephanie and the other board members will dress steampunk!
